Information about the new timing feature and the Trek Speed Zone for the Tours!
The tour rides are NOT races - there are no prizes given to the fastest overall bikers - the timing of your ride is simply a convenience for you - the biker - to know how long your ride took.  You may want to compare your 2018 tour time to previous Tour De Cape rides that you may have completed.  Additionally, your friends/relatives can sign for tracking and receive emails or text messages each time that you go past a timing station. Currently, we have these timing stations in place: Tour Start, speed zone start and speed zone/tour finish.
There is a new "speed zone" challenge which will time your final mile, no matter which tour ride you sign up for.  This challenge is a fun thing for you, the biker, to try! We will also note that all persons who opt to be timed become eligible for a prize drawing at the conclusion of the tour, but the bottom line here is the speed zone is simply a fun thing to attempt.

Run and Ride Combination

(includes the 5K on Saturday and the bicycle tour on Sunday)

Sunday Lunch service is provided at Fathoms and Rum Runners.

Fathoms is a buffet style for fast service after you ride.

Rum Runners provides a limited menu for riders and will be a longer wait time for service.

Fathoms will be open at 10:30am for service.

Rum Runners will be open at 11:00am for service.
